This painting depicts the Acacia Cottage located within Cornwall Park in Auckland. Acacia Cottage is a rare survivor from early colonial Auckland and an important symbol of the city's pioneering roots. Built in the heart of the early settlement in 1841, this small timber dwelling originally stood to the rear of the Auckland Shortland Street store run by William Brown and John Logan Campbell, two of the earliest traders in the town. I have captured the architecture in a contemporary and colorful way, bringing some fun and brightness to any wall in your home or in the office.

Cleaning instructions:

Use a damp soft cloth to remove any dust or marks. Do not use any solvents on the canvas painting.
